So what does this actually look like?
Planning begins once you book. If you have a location in mind, we start there, but if you’re unsure, Rachel gets more information from you about your preferred location/a radius as well as your preferred backdrop/vibe (forest, ocean, field, indoor industrial space, etc) and provides a list of options to choose from. We figure out the timing that works well based on your location and your date, and Rachel helps build out a timeline for your day. Photography coverage in this package isn’t limited to a particular number of hours, so Rachel’s coverage is flexible based on the elopement/intimate wedding you plan together. You can also add on videography coverage with Rachel’s lead, Annie - or Rachel’s lead Jenna, depending on the day and location.
Rachel and her lead videographer Annie are both ordained and able to legally officiate your wedding in addition to photographing/filming it. If you have a friend or family member that you’d like to officiate your wedding, that’s also more than welcome! If it’s helpful - Rachel or Annie can still complete the legal portion of the officiant services to save your friend/family member from going through the ordination process.
Before getting in videography, Annie went to culinary school and worked for many years as a baker, so she’ll work with you to create a custom cake/pie/dessert of your dreams. Rachel partners with several florists to provide your choice of two bouquets, one bouquet and one boutonnière, or two boutonnières. If you choose to add on additional design services, you can also choose to add more florals to your day (for an arbor or freestanding ceremony arrangement for example).
When you add on full design and prop/detail sourcing Rachel works with you to create a vision board for your day. Does a picnic on a rocky coast sound perfect to you? Rachel can make sure that you have an entire spread waiting for your day - from an assortment of blankets and pillows and a low to the ground table decked out with picnic ware, candles, florals, etc. Or maybe a cool industrial look is more your style? Rachel can help source a chic rug and fun ceremony backdrop and all the fixings to have a sleek table setup for you and yours (and maybe a few friends and family) to enjoy a small post-ceremonial meal together.
Rachel can also help source lodging options for you and your partner for the days leading up to/following your elopement.
